Acolytes

Provide liturgical leadership by opening and closing the service through candle lighting and processions, assisting clergy with gospel reading and preparation of the altar for Eucharist.

Chalice Bearers

Assist the priest in serving the wine during Communion.

Lay Readers

Members of the congregation who read selections from the Bible and lead the Prayers of the People.

Greeter and Ushers

The Greeters and Ushers serve many purposes during the service. They begin by welcoming people into the church and distributing bulletins. Ushers assist with seating, collections, offertory and directing parishioners to communion.
